Building Muscle Tips
When your major interest is building muscle, the best solution for you is to go to a bodybuilding and fitness gym because this is the place where you can find all the necessary equipment that you need in order to shape your body as you wish.
The cardiovascular resistance to effort, the muscle strength, the flexibility and the modification of the composition of your body (the modification of the muscle mass and fat tissue balance) are only some of the physiological benefits that you can obtain when you attend the program in a gym.
Combined with a healthy diet, rest and a program of stress removal, the work-out influences our long-term health. If building muscle is what you expect and desire, there are some work-out principles that you need to take into consideration:
1. The principle of the continuous pressure – consists of maintaining under pressure, during the set, the muscle you’re focusing on, thus helping the stimulation of a maximum number of muscular fibers. This is how building muscle occurs. You stress the muscle and it responds by getting bigger.
2. The principle of the highest contraction – may be included in the sets that require the rhythmical performance of the successive repetitions and consists of the accentuation of the contraction (strong strain) in the superior part of the movement.
3. The principle of the super-slow sets – each repetition is performed in 20-60 seconds in order to solicit more the muscles. This helps with building muscle because more muscle fibers are recruited with this slower movement.
4. The principle of the weights` pyramid – consists in the variation of the number of the repetitions and of the weight
5. The high-speed work-out – consists in the lowering of the weight in a controlled manner and then the explosive contraction of the muscles in order to lift the weight as quickly as possible.
6. The principle of the cheating – allows the use of the weight in order to finish a repetition that seems impossible. The aim of this principle is to surpass the momentary muscular exhaustion by over soliciting the muscle.
In this way, building muscle is possible, due to the fact that the muscle grows in size and in strength.
7. The principle of the forced repetitions – consists in the performance of some supplementary repetitions after you begin to feel tired. These repetitions are done with the help of a partner, but it’s very important to be helped only when you lift the weight.
8. The principle of the muscular confusion – refers to the periodical modification of the exercises destined to one muscular group, or to the modification of their order during the work-out. In this way, the muscle doesn’t get used to a certain type of work-out.
9. The principle of the overburdening – the weights are added progressively, at each training. This way, you’ll grow stronger by doing the same number of repetitions with heavier weights. When building muscle, more weight and overload means more muscle.
10. The principle of the partial repetitions – in order to increase the intensity of the work-outs, you can make 2-3 partial repetitions at the end of the set.
In conclusion, remember that building muscle doesn't happen overnight. This requires a lot of ambition, hard work, a good nutrition, a well-organized work-out, and a healthy judgement!
Don't try to outrun your abilities and your power to handle exhausting trainings! Furthermore, determination and motivation are other key elements besides these practical ones that regard the effort and the diet.
In order to be constantly focused and determined to proceeed with your routine, you have to be concentrated on your goal, on your desires and on your future body.
In this way, you will be stimulated to continue with your new lifestyle and so, you will get the fit and muscular body that you want, plus a good health and extra vitality.
